Very often we see the current generation of gearboxes develop jerky gear changes or hang onto gears due to low oil levels, this is normally due to leaks from the plastic sump (with integral filter) and the electrical connector sleeve. We can replace both of these for you using Genuine original parts and oil at a much more competitive price than the main dealer. YELLOW ENGINE  MANAGEMENT LIGHT ON?

In the event of a fault with the engine a complex network of sensors will detect when readings go outside the tolerances expected and this will be highlighted on your instrument panel with a yellow light (shown below) The data gathered by the sensors is recorded in the vehicle and using the very latest diagnostic computers we can analyse this information to help pin point the reason for the warning. Unfortunately it’s not simply a case of the computer finding the fault though, by carrying out mechanical and electrical tests of the engine components we will accurately identify the cause to achieve the most cost efficient BMW repair.
